Analysis of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour dimensions among a sample of the administrative staff at the University of Boumerdes-Algeria

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the level of organizational citizenship behavior and its dimensions, namely: courtesy, altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship and civic virtue, among the administrative staff of the Algerian University. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was prepared for the purpose of data collection, where the sample included (138) employees from Boumerdes University. The spss program was used to perform the statistical analysis of the data.
The results revealed that the degree of practicing organizational citizenship behavior among the study sample regarding its five dimensions was high. The results also showed that there are no statistically significant differences in the Perception of organizational citizenship among employees due to personal variables: age, educational level and experience.
