About the Journal

JEDS is an annual double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal published by the King Abdulaziz University Scientific Publishing Centre. The primary focus of the journal is the analysis and assessment of contemporary and historical urban and regional development and management. These assessments are grounded in spatial planning policies and architectural design, offering problem-solving solutions that leverage geospatial and advanced spatial and non-spatial data visualization technologies. The journal serves as a platform for disseminating new research findings, fostering debates in fields such as urban and regional planning, architecture, landscape architecture, geomatics, and interdisciplinary scientific knowledge.
