OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT — PERMANENT CLOSURE OF SUBMISSIONS

Discontinuation of New Manuscript Submissions to JEDS

The Editorial Board of the Journal of King Abdulaziz University: Environmental Design Sciences (JEDS) hereby announces that the journal has permanently ceased accepting new manuscript submissions.

This decision has been taken within the framework of an institutional editorial restructuring strategy and the development of specialized scholarly publishing outlets within the field of Environmental Design Sciences.

As part of this transition, a new journal has been established:

International Journal of the Built Environment and Geospatial Sciences (IJBEGS)

which will serve as the primary academic platform for publishing research in:

- Architecture and Urban Design

- Urban and Regional Planning

- Environmental Design and Built Environment Studies

- Geospatial Sciences, GIS, and Remote Sensing

- Spatial Analytics, BIM / GeoBIM, and Digital Twins

Authors and researchers are kindly requested to direct all future submissions to IJBEGS through its online submission and editorial management system.

International Journal of Built Environment and Geospatial Sciences 

All manuscripts that were previously submitted to JEDS will continue to be processed and handled in accordance with established editorial and peer-review procedures until completion.

The Editorial Board expresses its sincere appreciation to all contributors, reviewers, and readers who have supported JEDS over the years and contributed to its academic mission.
