Endogenous Meningococcal Endophthalmitis in a Well Infant

Abstract
Endogenous bacterial endophthalmitis has become a rare occurrence after the widespread use of modern antibiotics. This study reports on a healthy infant who developed meningococcal endogenous endophthalmitis at the age of five months.
