Abstract
The study aimed to know the reality of social responsibility in sports organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, revealing the level of awareness of its concept and identifying the programs implemented within its framework in sports organizations, as well as identifying the role of establishing social responsibility programs in sports organizations on society, and identifying the obstacles facing sports organizations. In implementing these programs, it relied on the descriptive approach using a survey method on a sample consisting of (151) members of social responsibility committees and volunteer teams in sports organizations, using the questionnaire as a study tool, the results of the study revealed that there is a high level of awareness among the sample members of the importance of social responsibility, and there are basic programs within its scope, which are cultural, sports, health, social and environmental programs The study also showed a set of obstacles facing sports organizations in implementing social responsibility programs, such as weak media directed to sports organizations, lack of financial and human resources, and lack of activation of community programs and activities.
