Ibn Omer  Hadith concerning  Al-Fitr  Zakat (charity)

A prophetic Hadith critical study

Abstract: Zakat  is one  of the greatest  legislation that Islam religion legalize .It is one of the Islam five pillars ,so, it is of a crucial importance  to  consider and  investigate  the   Hadiths  and  Jurisprudence  studies that   clarify  this great pillar and its provisions.

In this research ,I would like to present  a critical detailed  study  for one of the most  important  Hadiths on Zakat  which is Ibn Omer Hadith about  Zakat , since there is no critical studies  or researches  done on this topic or on its sources and origin though it is a very important one.

The objective  of the study is to do an elaborate  investigation  on  its  referencing  according to a specified  methodology that helps in explaining its transmitted chain Isaneed  of this Hadith  and its documentation , in addition to clarifying the differences in its content and references to use it as  solid base for presenting  a sufficient and critical study ,in which the methods and different versions of this Hadith  are examined.

These different versions  are thoroughly and critically  studied  by using the detailed verification to distinguish between  the correct and the incorrect ones. This is the most  important result achieved in this paper because the wordings and versions  of this Hadith are many, that requires a precise and thorough investigation for its Isaneed (referencing) .
