Abstract
The importance of this topic is evident as it is related with rhetorical aspects of the Noble Qur’an, and focused on the rhetorical gestures in the verses that contained the relative pronoun and the relative clause that followed it. The eloquence of the relative pronoun lies within the space of which the relative clause subsequently provides in achieving the rhetorical subtle points accordingly.
The study is entitled (Consistency of the Relative Pronoun in Surah Al-Hashr), as the Surah focused on dealing with the hadith about praising Allah the Almighty and glorifying Him. The divine power of Allah the Almighty appeared in the Muslims’ defeat of the Bani Nadir and their voluntary departure from their homes outside the walls of Medina. The study is divided into two section, the first section dealt with the relative pronoun with its types, parts, and rhetorical purposes. The other section dealt with the application to the verses in which the relative pronoun was mentioned in Surat Al-Hashr.
The study adopted the inductive and analytical approach, by examining the noble verses in which the relative pronoun was mentioned, and then analyzing it rhetorically to reveal the eloquent aspects of its occurrence according to the context in which those pronouns were applied.
