Abstract

Perhaps the splendor of the semantic effect in the poetic text is gained from its stylistic formations. Because style is the backbone of poetry and its strong texture. Therefore, this reading attempts to awaken the poetic and stylistic repertoire in Al-Maarri’s elegy for his father, and requires the reader to invest in the mechanisms of the stylistic approach in the process of examining and interrogating the poetic text.
Based on this theory and procedure, In this study, we examine the following two stylistic levels:
1- The structural level.
2- Rhythmic level.
