The artistic production of public relations publications and its role in achieving the goals of service-orienteinstitutions: The case of the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Kuwait

Abstract

The research sought to find out ways to employ technical guidance for public relations publications in service agencies. The study relied on examining how institutions' publications are used. The research included a study of the public’s opinion about the publications used and their content. The researchers used the survey method and the results of the research concluded that: (45%) of the participants see the importance of the public relations publications of the Ministry of Electricity and Water. The results showed that there is a clear reservation about the success of publications in satisfying the public, and a reasonable percentage (42%) agrees with the Ministry of Electricity and Water’s interest in electronic public relations publications. There is also relative reservation about the publishing operations carried out by the Ministry, while the study recommended: the necessity of conducting scientific studies to determine the appropriate technical programs for publications, conducting an extensive analysis of the target audience to understand its needs, and using creativity and design to create attractive and inspiring publications. With the implementation of evaluation studies to measure the effectiveness of technical guidance and its impact on achieving the goals of the service entity.
