Personality disorders and their association to cyberbullying among a sample of Saudi adolescents in Jeddah

Abstract

Abstract: This Study has been conducted to investigate personality disorders and its relationship to Cyber- bullying among adolescents.The Sample conists of 490 adolescents From Kingdom of Saudia Arabia their aged ranged from 13-15 with mean age 14.8 years S.D 2.01 Measuring tools (1) Data Collection Sheet (2) Personality Disorders Scale (Prepard by Mohamed Ghaim et al., 2007) (3) Cyber- bullying scale (Prepred by Mosaad Abu Diyar, 2021).The results showed Difference Between Mean Scores of Males and Females in Cyber- bullying Favor to Males and significant differences between mean scores of males and females in personality disorders and there is positive correlation between personality disorder (paranoid, schizoid, antisocial, Borderlines, Narcissistic) for males and females. The study recommended developing awareness programmes in schools and universities of confronting cyberbullying and reducing its effects.
