Abstract
This study aims to uncover the “Tendencies among Staff in the Hospitality and Hotels Sector towards Merging Physically Impaired People into Labor Market: A Comparative Study between Saudi Arabia and Sultanate of Oman”. Sample group of the study was composed of 107 staff operating in hotels and hospitality sector. The study employed the descriptive analytical methodology. Findings revealed that the scale of topics among staff operating in hotels and hospitality sector in Saudi Arabia and Oman appeared at a high level in terms of cognitive, affective and behavioral aspects and the total score of scale. Moreover, the statistical ‘t’ value was significant for cognitive and behavioral topics, as well as the overall score of scale, in favor of staff not specialized in tourism and hospitality. Nevertheless, the (t) value was not statistically significant for all items related to the cognitive and affective topics among members of the sample groups in Saudi Arabia and Oman. The study recommended additional governmental support to be provided to recruitment entities concerned with hotels and hospitality sector to polarize and integrate staff with physical disabilities into labor market on basis of equal footing and efficiency alongside with their peers.
